5 Brothers Farm Bordernese Puppies
Because a farm just isn't complete without a Border Collie, we have always had one! (In addition to the goats, ducks & chickens, peacocks, cats, horses, cows...) If she isn't dutifully ensuring that all is well between the house and the barn, she is under the table awaiting the inevitable dropped dinner scraps from my 8 year old!
Collies are best known for their eagerness to please, and their intelligence. After doing some research and consulting with our veterinarian, we determined that combining the gentleness, of the Bernese, with the compliant, and valorous spirit of the Border Collie was a match made in Heaven. Always by your side, whether it's family movie night, or hiking along the riverbank, these animals are truly a delight. They are protective and intuitive, but gentle and obedient. They have proven to be a coveted family dog, with a gorgeous coat that is an added bonus!
We have happy puppy families in New Jersey, Florida, Washington, Idaho and Montana. It is so rewarding to see our pups bringing such happiness to their "furever" families.
Bordernese Baby
What you need to know about the Bordernese breed:
This breed is recognized by the American Canine Hybrid Club, and is a great mix of active and companion, (lay at your feet), animals which balances out perfectly. Bordernese are alert, but gentle and social.
TEMPERAMENT:
Combining these breeds allows for the inclusion of character traits that may have been lacking otherwise. Bordernese are good natured, eager to please, energetic, yet obedient. They are gentle enough for families with young children, and active enough to engage with you on any and every adventure.
APPEARANCE:
Medium to large in size, with floppy ears and a thicker, gorgeous coat just too soft and inviting not to stroke! Their coloring is brown and white, black and white, black and brown OR all of the above. It is so interesting to see the coat differentiation in each litter. Pups will be built more active and agile like the collie, or more sturdy like the mountain dog. But, aside from their unique beauty, this breed is truly special because of their protective spirit and playful nature. Roger Caras said, "Dogs don't make our whole lives, but they make our lives whole. " This breed is the very definition of that!
5 Brothers Farm Bernedoodle Puppies
The royalty-like demeanor of the Standard Poodle, in addition to his hypoallergenic coat and proud social graces, has made him a popular dog to crossbreed. Bronson, (our apricot standard), is not only intelligent and affectionate, but also very intuitive.
Bernedoodles, known as a "Designer Breed,' are well tempered, and uniquely beautiful. Again, combining the Bernese traits of loyal and gentle makes for a perfect blend. Bernedoodles, aren't your average dog next door, and several of our puppies have gone on to be service dogs. One past pup is living his best life in Hawaii with his autistic human. With their "Teddy Bear like" looks, and playful but protective characteristics, our puppies are every bit, 'part of the family.'
Bernedoodle Baby
What you need to know about the Bernedoodle breed:
This breed is recognized by the American Canine Hybrid Club, and is a perfect crossbreed choice for anyone wanting a loyal, protective and social "furever friend," with the hypoallergenic feature.
TEMPERAMENT:
Although no two Bernedoodles are alike, ours are bred for companionship. It is always our goal to give you an intelligent, playful, loyal and devoted sidekick. These four-legged BFFs are not only dedicated to their families, but are also social. Ours have been raised around cats, chickens, ducks, goats, cows and cow-dogs, and the like...making friends wherever they go.
APPEARANCE:
Highly popular because of their beauty and stamina, these dogs are quite stunning and definitely one of a kind. Medium to Large in size, (anywhere from 65-100lbs...shhh, they think they're lap dogs), low to non-shedding plush, and oh-so soft coat, (which is typically wavy to curly so make sure you brush it at least once a week), with lovely coloration...unpredictable, but usually black, white, brown, or all of the above! Some of them are even blessed with the “ghost” gene which allows for color change the older they get. Many of our pups manifest this gene at around the 9-10 week mark with silver faces!
Wherever you go, people will want to know "What kind of Dog that is..." And, you'll most likely answer, "The very best kind."
